Our client, who offers logistic solutions for collection, removal and disposal in the Greater London area, is looking to recruit a Junior Data Analyst.  Working within the Customer Experience Team you will be responsible for gathering data in multiple formats and from multiple sources, analysing the data and creating management information for clients and for use within the business.  You will also develop relationships with stakeholders, ensuring data is processed accurately and in a timely manner, whilst upholding the standards and values of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating the database with data provided by suppliers or obtained from their portals
  • Ensuring all required data is received/processed in line with deadlines and report schedules
  • Gathering data from database, validating, interrogating and analysing the data to identify errors/trends/anomalies before creating management information reports with it
  • Interpreting client requirements and creating bespoke reports as specified
  • Building relationships with suppliers/customers/colleagues to better understand/improve the reporting process
  • Continuously reviewing the reporting process to identify opportunities for automation and improvement in efficiency and accuracy
  • Responding to queries from other teams within the business, external suppliers and clients
  • Ensuring all calls/requests/queries are actioned and responses are provided in a timely manner
  • Various other tasks as deemed relevant and necessary by the Line Manager
  • Ensuring areas for improvement are identified and required process changes are implemented
  • Ensuring telephone calls are answered within 3 rings and emails acknowledged within company policy
Special Requirements: 
  • Good computer skills within the Microsoft Office suite, including a strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel to analyse and present data
  • Knowledge of VBA macros and Relational Database (SQL queries) for Crystal Reporting
  • Ability to manage own workload effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with a range of people (including management and customers)
  • Organised, able to plan and prioritise and keep to strict deadlines and problem solve
  • An excellent team player, proactive in showing support for colleagues/the manager (e.g. training, absence cover etc.)
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Possessing a positive, approachable, reliable attitude
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Willingness to undertake any relevant training
