Our client, who works within the financial services sector, is looking for a strong payroll advisor. You must have proven payroll experience and have confidence working in a fast pace environment.

This role is primarily based in Canary Wharf, however, there may be occasional visits/travel to their secondary office in Gerrards Cross as and when required.

Payroll duties to include:-

  • Processing the monthly payroll function, from "start to end", including monthly reporting and RTI Compliance
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and HMRC regulations
  • Processing bank payments
  • Liaising with the HRD on a daily basis
  • SSP
  • Managing the tax year-end processes, including the preparation of P11Ds
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and preparing national statistics returns
  • Managing group pension schemes
Special Requirements: 
  • Knowledge of Sage (advantageous)
  • Excellent understanding of fundamental payroll principles
  • Strong time management
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and payroll packages
  • Confident, driven, with a hands-on approach
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting agreed timescales
  • Excellent attention to detail (essential)
  • Previous experience working alongside a sales department on monthly commission (advantageous)
