Import and Export Administrator (AJ151) Permanent

Our Client a manufacturing company based in High Wycombe are currently recruiting for a strong Import and Export administrator to join them on a full time basis.

• Involved in all aspects of Import and export operations communication and the ability to work quickly and accurately is essential to deliver excellence to our customers.
• The role is varied with freight being moved between locations worldwide in a fast- moving environment under time pressures.
• The import/export administrator will be responsible for ensuring the business complies with HMRC regulations.
• Facilitating internal control, training, audits, and compliance related activities.
• Plans and oversees the flow of goods for international and domestic traffic
• Production of all necessary export paperwork and product declarations, filing tariffs, bills of lading, licence agreements
• Coordinates paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with customs regulations
• Identification of most efficient export routes.
• Export declaration.
• Import declarations.
• Resolves customs delays / issues.
• Maintain all necessary customs records.

Essential

• Experience working with Import/Export regulations & requirements
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Thorough knowledge of shipping regulations and policies
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software
