Our client, established for over 40 years and involved in the security industry, is looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor to play an integral part of the security operation.

This role is essential to the effective running of the operation and will consist of regular engagement and communications with Security Officers and managing the Mobile Patrol team on various sites.

This will suit someone who is able to work in a flexible manner, as the role requires day, night and weekend working. You will be working from the head office in High Wycombe and will be required to visit sites, predominantly in Bucks, Berks and Oxford areas.

A close working partnership must be maintained with all staff members to ensure the most effective support is provided 24 hours a day.

In addition to your normal earnings, you will also receive a company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, paid training, access to an employer contributed pension scheme, employee discount scheme and company sick pay.

The ideal candidates should have:

• Experience within the security industry

• A Front Line SIA Licence, however they will consider applicants without an SIA Licence who will be prepared to undertake the relevant training.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, all successful candidates will be required to be security screened in accordance with BS 7858 and, as such, will need to have a five-year checkable employment or educational history or able to provide evidence of any periods of unemployment.

Responsibilities to include :-

• Completion of site visit reports and passing to the relevant Manager for review
• Conducting all welfare inspections and maintaining the Key Performance Indicator relating to this
• Providing support and assistance to any staff member experiencing difficulties and, where necessary, escalating to the Account Manager
• Recruiting/inducting Mobile Patrol Officers and arranging appropriate training
• Investigation of accidents and near misses
• Investigation assistance for discipline and grievance issues
• Assisting with the uniform delivery for employees
• Providing on call/out of hours support as part of the operation team (1 week in 4)
• Performing quarterly key checks for both static locations and keyholding/mobile keys
• Due to the nature of the security industry, other duties may be required from time to time
