This is a part time, permanent position.

Our client, a highly established supplier based in Aylesbury, is looking for a part time Trainee Sales & Customer Service. You will be helping to generate profitable sales by providing excellent levels of customer service and product/technical support. You will ensure all enquiries are processed in a timely manner and all orders are processed as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily contact with new and existing customers (after training)
• Generating enquiries from customer contact calls
• Updating contact details on customer database
• Managing enquiries and quotes
• Sales order processing
• Interface with the sales engineers
• Liaising with export office in Germany
• Ensuring products are delivered on time to customers
• Enquiry logging and entry onto CRM
• Meeting/surpassing minimum levels of customer contact and enquiry levels
• Preparing and following up on quotations
• Checking the correct products are ordered and drawings are processed where necessary
• Customer liaison regarding order processing and delivery
• Liaison with other departments as required

• Good customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work unsupervised
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn
