A leading financial services company based in Canary Wharf are looking for a Technical Product Owner to join them on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have worked within FS and have a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar position.

This is a great opportunity to own and really drive a product area. The environment is fast paced and you will need to “lead” and “do” and will really have a big impact of getting the best products delivered for your customers. We aim to be the best for our Personal and Business customers wanting to transfer money all round the world… and to hedge any currency/FX risks.

Duties

• Serve as the voice of our customers, seeking out their needs & insights

• Map E2E customer journeys (including data and process flows) & optimise CX

• Research and analyse market, the users, latest insight and the roadmap for the product

• Actively engage with Business stakeholder to truly understand their desired outcomes

• Proactively update and communicate progress or set-backs with business owners

• Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog = Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize

stories, epics to ensure work delivers maximum value for customers & the business

• Develop specifications for product features so they are clearly understood by

development teams

• Adjust, escalate and work with development team to drive momentum and deliver

results

• Ensure (and assist personally) in testing of deliverables to make sure they are fit-for purpose
