Our client, a marketing agency, is looking to recruit a Purchasing Co-ordinator to join their growing organisation. You will be working as part of their experienced buying department on a range of accounts, as well as working with the in-house design and sales teams on product development from concept to delivery.

Duties of the role will include:

• Managing an established supplier base whilst bringing on new supply routes
• Negotiating costings and ensuring projects are delivered within budget
• Writing detailed product specifications, quality expectations and purchase orders
• Liaising with all departments to ensure projects are delivered to schedule

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills (internal, directors, retail team, sales team, creative team)
• Strong external client engagement skills (3rd party suppliers, on-site 3rd party event staff)
• Educated to A-Level (or equivalent calibre)
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to tackle a diverse array of tasks
• 2 years’ previous office experience (desirable)
• A keen interest in consumer/promotional products as well as quality assurance and ethical sourcing from manufacturers in UK, EU, Turkey and Far East
• Commercially aware
• Good communication skills, with the ability to build rapport
• Good organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and to use own initiative
• Entry level skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, MS Teams
