Working for a well-established luxury manufacturer based in Princes Risborough, you will be the first point of contact for customers in the showroom, or through their website

You will have a passion for customer services, have strong communication skills and be able work within a small team.

Salary £22,000 plus commission.

Working hours Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm or Monday 9am – 5.30pm

This role primarily serves two main functions in sales support and also customer service in the company’s direct to consumer sales channels.

You will provide support to customers before, during and after a sale has completed.

You will perform other roles including visual merchandising, ensuring the showroom stock and accessories are maintained, and stock controlled.


  • Receive visitors and ensuring that they sign in (in line with Health & Safety guidelines).
  • Booking visitor appointments for the showrooms.
  • Taking Customer Orders, taking card payments providing receipts, T&Cs and passing to distribution to arrange delivery.
  • Process and follow-up of Ebay orders as necessary.
  • Explain lay out of the Showroom to new customers including the Outlet and washrooms.
  • Tidy and maintain the Showroom by dressing furniture and cleaning
  • Assisting with complaints in a professional manner in line with Company guidelines.
  • Customer service assistance to include (but not be limited to) customer enquiries and order tracking and chasing of deliveries with distribution companies.
  • Answer the telephone and provide a solution/assist where possible or take details to arrange a call back from the relevant company department.
  • Provide ad hoc cover where needed in the UK Retailer customer service team

Experience required:

  • IT literate, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Able to work as part of a team in addition to working on own initiative
  • Smart appearance and polite approach

Ability to remain calm and factual when dealing with distressed and demanding customers
