Our client, established for over 40 years and a service provider for electronic components, is looking to recruit a warehouse operative (temporary contract for approx. 4 months), to carry out general duties within the Packing and Despatch area of the warehouse.

Duties will be carried out in a diligent and efficient manner, ensuring all activities are conducted and recorded accurately.

Duties of the role will include:

• Receiving Advice Notes, locating products listed and packing/despatching products on a timely basis subject to both quality/customer requirements
• Receiving/recording deliveries from suppliers and subsequent disposition to kits or appropriate/correct bin locations
• Locating/booking in products detailed on pick lists and assembling kits for despatch on time and to quality/customer requirements
• Maintaining an adequate knowledge of all stores procedures in order to perform other duties as and when required/directed
• Assisting with the cyclic stock check
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the stores at all times
• Promptly reporting any situations/conditions which may adversely affect the Health & Safety of employees/visitors to the Stores Supervisor or Health & Safety Officer
• Complying with all requisite procedures detailed in the Quality Assurance Manual and all other relevant company procedures
• Any other ad-hoc duties that may be reasonably required from time to time
