Warehouse Team Leader (CS006067)
Full Time PermanentOur client, highly established with approximately 150 employees across 4 locations, is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to manage the warehouse team and support the Warehouse Supervisor.
This will involve undertaking a range of related warehouse duties, including ensuring goods receipts and issues are processed in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining proper controls of all appropriate paperwork and data input onto the computer systems.
You will be responsible for ensuring all warehouse functions are conducted in accordance with established procedures, including the safe storage of products and accurate packing process of customer orders, as well as providing support and covering in other warehouse areas as and when necessary.
Responsibilities to include:
• • Planning resource and capacity to meet business demands
• • Ensuring all warehouse duties are controlled and maintained
• • Liaising with internal departments to manage workflow
• • Recording/analysing data to ensure company targets are met, instigating change by measurement
• • Celebrating success and driving continual improvement
• • Driving reduction of errors by looking at root cause, driving change and managing the outputs
• • Leading/motivating the teams, taking actions as required i.e. investigations, absent management, return to works and consequential actions
• • Company key holder, ensuring building security and maintaining facility as per sign off guidelines
Special Requirements:
Proven management experience within a warehouse environment (essential)
• • Good knowledge of a warehouse management system (Winman desirable but not essential) with good computer literacy skills
• • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well with others of all levels
• • Deadline driven and a completer/finisher
• • Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong work ethic
• • Clear understanding and appreciation of health and safety procedures
• • Must hold a full, clean, and valid driving licence, as travel may be required between sites

Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday on a rotating shift pattern (7am – 3.30pm / 9.30am – 6pm)
