This is a full time, permanent position.

Our client, a hardware store based near High Wycombe, is seeking a confident and assertive Sales Executive with strong communication skills. The primary responsibility will be to answer all sales calls and emails, ensuring all orders are on the system and relevant paper work is complete, as well as setting up and managing data against products.

Key Duties:

  • Answering telephone calls in a professional manner, within 3 rings
  • Sales administration
  • Ensuring all emails/faxes are responded to immediately and inbox is maintained in an organised manner
  • Primarily servicing a designated number of customers, subsidiaries and sub-contractors
  • Servicing other customers if required and dealing with walk-in enquiries
  • Ensuring all orders are on the system as pick or back orders
  • Ensuring all scheduled orders are inputted onto the system
  • Filing all customer orders electronically
  • Producing picking notes
  • Raising all backorders with your manager
  • Marketing / sales support as required
  • Cold calling
  • Travelling to Europe, the Far East and other parts of the world as and when required
Special Requirements: 
  • Industry experience desirable but not essential
  • Sales experience, including cold calling
  • A passion to meet all set targets
  • Good level of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills and ERP computer knowledge
  • Strong written & oral communication skills
  • Confident, determined and assertive with a methodical approach
  • Honest, reliable and dedicated
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong work ethic
  • Must be organised and able to prioritise
  • Experienced administrator, working on company systems/computer literate
  • Approachable ‘can do attitude’
  • Motivated team player
  • A minimum 2 years’ experience working in an office
