This is a full time, permanent position.

Our client, a UK distributor is recruiting for 2 Account Managers to join of their growing team based in their High Wycombe office. They are looking for people with the drive, determination and ability to work logically and professionally at all times and to provide timely responses to customer requirements. The chosen individuals must have proven sales and account management experience.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Developing, growing and supporting the customer base throughout the UK
  • Deal with customer enquiries and requirements on a commercial basis
  • Prepare quotations and gain customer acceptance
  • Build long term profitable relationships with new and existing customers
  • Undertake key account management
  • Assist customers, by identifying their needs handling queries and provide solutions to their supply chain problems
  • Develop, manage and deliver sales administration and reports
  • Play your part in supporting the sales team
Special Requirements: 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Proven sales/account management track record
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Previous electronics background is desirable but not essential
  • Persuasiveness, tenacity and strong selling skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including very good presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Well organised and able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience in preparing reports and correspondence proficiently and professionally
  • Ability to work in teams, with minimum supervision and to make responsible decisions
  • Working knowledge of company policies, procedures and computer systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
