This is a full time, permanent role.

Our client, a distributor based in Marlow, is looking for a Business Development Executive to pro-actively maximise sales, promote products and establish great relationships with clients. The right candidate will have previous cold-calling experience with a “hunter” mentality.  Strong skills in transforming customer expectations into bespoke customer deliverable is a must.

Key Duties include:

  • Pro-actively selling the company’s portfolio of products and services to new and current partners
  • Identifying, targeting and opening new accounts in line with pre-set targets
  • Professional, multi-level introduction to new and management of existing accounts, encompassing the full portfolio of the company’s value of their products and services
  • Gaining a full and comprehensive knowledge of partner’s business models, channel dependent
  • Developing comprehensive short and medium term business pipeline plans for all partners
  • Developing/delivering regular new business reviews and business development meeting plans
  • Developing strong and multi-level relationships with all key partners
  • Keeping abreast of market & industry developments, identifying opportunities for new business and revenue streams which could be used in the wider Specialist sales plan
  • Working effectively as part of the overall sales function to achieve group targets and objectives
  • Liaising in a professional manner with other internal business functions
  • Regular daily/weekly/monthly performance reviews of targets and objectives
  • Regular customer meetings (when required)
