Specifications: 

This is a full time role (42.5 hours per week) – Monday to Saturday, 5 days a week on a rota basis (It is on average 1 in 3 Saturdays) - Sunday is contracted on the rare occasion during peak period

Our client, a fast growing technical distributor based on the outskirts of Marlow, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to provide superior customer service and sales handling across multiple channels, with some ‘out of hours’ cover provided remotely as required.

Key Duties:

  • Multi-channel support across phone calls, e-mail and social media, on rota (team provide cover across 6 days per week, on rota)
  • Providing relevant and tailed solutions to customers, enhancing customer experience and journey to develop the business brand
  • Taking ownership of customer escalations, resolving these in line with the defined processes and procedures
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times
  • Establishing customers’ sales needs through effective questioning and identifying cross sell ‘add on opportunities’
  • Working to defined targets, including individual sales and performance measures as well as team service levels and conversion
  • Feeding back any potential improvements which support the customers/business
  • Making outbound telephone calls to 3rd parties as required
  • Completing administrative tasks to support the calls
