This is a permanent, full-time position.

Our client, based in High Wycombe, is looking to recruit an experienced multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer to join their friendly team.  You must be customer focused and committed to delivering the highest standards at all times.  This role will involve small works, installations, first and second fix, commissioning and servicing of fire/security systems and commissioning of systems, including cause and effect/output programming as required.  You will be given consistent and periodic relevant training plus there will be opportunities for progression within this ambitious and ever growing company!

Duties of the role will include:

  • Handovers following completion of works, including necessary paperwork
  • Fault finding and remedial works
  • Service and maintenance as required by the team (although not the focus of the role)
  • Participation in the On Call rota on a 1 in 5 basis (a standby allowance is paid)  -experience and qualifications are required for this role
Special Requirements: 
  • Experience working for a BAFE accredited & SSAIB or NSI regulated company
  • Experience working on Pyronix, Galaxy, Texacom, HikVision, Paxton, BPT, Videx, Kentec, Advanced and Haes (knowledge of Notifier an advantage)
  • A broad understanding of the principles of networking, in particular for CCTV
  • A full clean UK driving licence
  • Effective communication skills (essential)
  • Flexible, motivated and a desire to learn and progress and provide excellent service 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise with a “can do” attitude
  • Organised / reliable / good decision maker
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others  / a good team player
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
