Our client, an electrical distributer, is seeking an Office Administrator.  This position would suit someone that has had previous administration experience and who enjoys a varied role.

Duties Include:

  • Answering the telephone / answering the door
  • Raising internal sales orders / invoices / Proformas / freight / credit notes / commercial invoices and relating commercial documents
  • Distributing incoming post / parcels
  • DHL – raising relevant documentation for despatches and collections
  • Expenses for employees
  • Travel bookings – car hire / taxis / hotels etc.
  • Stationary ordering /  Amazon orders for IT supplies and other office purchases / ordering cleaning supplies
  • Meeting calendar entries - External meeting booking / lunch booking for meetings / meeting room set up (including refreshments)
  • Management of business card ordering
  • New starter set up
  • Organising outside events (i.e. Christmas party, off-site sales meeting etc.
  • Monitoring email inbox
  • Credit card payments
  • Filing Purchase Ledger invoice / processing Facilities Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Checking and signing off Secure Room Access Report
  • Door key, entry fob and alarm fob allocation
Special Requirements: 
  • Ability to work under pressure and with initiative
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organised and with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Previous administration experience
  • Excel skills
  • Sage experience desirable (but not essential)
