This is a permanent, full-time position.

Our client, who has been involved in the interior design industry for over 50 years, is looking to recruit a reliable Sales Administrator.  Your responsibilities will include processing orders, ensuring the correct information is obtained and communicated to the Production team, as well as being responsible for maintaining the product database, ensuring made to measure products have the correct component make up.  You will take charge from receipt of order right through to processing the invoice and sending it to the customer.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Processing sales orders
  • Providing customers with proof of delivery and data required to process invoices
  • Bill of Material entry
  • Entering new stock products onto the computer system, maintaining Bill of Material
  • Processing invoices & refunding customers
  • Booking in/organising fitters’ diaries, ensuring all work is completed to customer satisfaction
  • Managing customer e-mails and telephone calls relating to sales
  • Answering missed calls and referring to correct department/person
  • Continuous improvement of the process
Special Requirements: 
  • Proven experience in sales or a relevant role
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, as well as customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high focus on customer satisfaction (essential)
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work without supervision
  • Excellent time management/organisational/leadership skills
  • Familiarity with sales processes
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with accounting software or order processing software, as well as CRM systems
  • Qualification is sales administration or relevant field (preferred)
  • Self-motivated / reliable
