This is a full time, permanent position.

Our client, a hardware store based on the outskirts of High Wycombe is seeking a confident and assertive Sales Executive with strong communication skills. The primary responsibility will be to answer all sales calls and emails, ensuring all orders are on the system and relevant paper work is complete, as well as setting up and managing data against products.

Key Duties:

  • Answer telephone calls in a professional manner, within 3 rings
  • Sales administration
  • Ensure all emails are responded to immediately and inbox is maintained in an organised manner
  • Primarily service a designated number of customers, subsidiaries and sub-contractors
  • Service other customers if required and deal with walk-in enquiries
  • Ensure all orders are on the system as pick or back orders
  • Ensure all scheduled orders are inputted onto the system
  • File all customer orders electronically
  • Raise all backorders with your manager
  • Produce picking notes
  • Marketing / sales support as required
  • Cold calling
  • Travel to Europe, the Far East and other parts of the world as and when required
Special Requirements: 
  • Industry experience desirable but not essential
  • Sales experience, including cold calling
  • A passion to meet all set targets
  • Good level of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills and ERP computer knowledge
  • Strong written & oral communication skills
  • Confident, determined and assertive with a methodical approach
  • Honest, reliable and dedicated
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong work ethic
  • Must be organised and able to prioritise
  • Experienced administrator, working on company systems/computer literate
  • Approachable ‘can do attitude’
  • Motivated team player
  • A minimum 2 years’ experience working in an office
