This is a part-time permanent position, working 20 hours per week.

Our client, a highly successful and rapidly growing support services organisation, is seeking an enthusiastic, creative and results orientated Social Media Executive with a good understanding of the position and a keen eye for detail to join their friendly and professional Marketing & Events team.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Along with the wider marketing team, developing a social media strategy, setting goals to increase brand awareness and increasing engagement
  • Managing all social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Instragram for all projects
  • Planning content/delivery using Hootsuite to manage multiple social media channels
  • Developing and managing campaigns that promote their projects
  • Writing engaging social media posts that encourage actions to be taken on relevant websites/projects
  • Creating engaging multimedia content, such as videos, GIFs, graphics
  • Managing/facilitating social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Monitoring/reporting on performance on social media platforms using tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Creative content writing and editing
  • Educating other staff on the use of social media and promoting its use within the company


Special Requirements: 

Knowledge, understanding, experience & skills :-

  • Good copywriting experience
  • Excellent practical understanding of social media and digital content
  • Day-to day social media posting and engagement experience
  • Online web experience
  • Experience in Photoshop, Excel and other online basics
  • Experience in Facebook and Facebook Live, Twitter, Linkedin, Instragram, Hootsuite and emerging social networks
  • Good knowledge of web analytics tools
  • A passion for digital content, the social space and emerging trends
  • A keen eye for detail and a good command of written English
  • Ability to manage/prioritise multiple tasks/projects
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an engaged, exciting team
  • A positive attitude in order to make a positive difference and change business for good
  • A keenness to help drive wider team goals in a fast-paced work environment

Working to agreed budgets, financial monitoring, adhering to procurement protocol
